We love getting ideas on how to add more time-saving features to Epic Sum Up. You can submit feature requests here.
Epic Sum Up works well with most plugins out of the box, as it’s designed to align closely with Jira’s native functions. Additionally, we’re actively working on formal integrations with other plugins.

In the Cloud version, you can use progress bars in the Summary Panel, dashboard gadget, and the Detail View Editor.
For Data Center, they’re also available wherever custom fields can be used.
This feature is exclusive to Data Center because Atlassian restricts the display of HTML custom fields in Jira Cloud.
We currently rely on Jira’s default behavior, using the built-in resolution field for marking issues as resolved. This means the progress isn’t affected by the status. We’re working on refining our definition of ‘done’ for more accuracy.
Use custom fields to display progress bars wherever you need them across your Jira (Data Center). You can add progress bars using administration issue settings.
An issue that acts as a parent to another issue. Compared to Jira’s epics, with this Epic Sum Up feature, you can define any issue as a container of other issues. Moreover, you can have containers within containers for a super-flexible issue hierarchy.

You can add epics to a container, as well as other containers and Advanced Roadmaps issue types. Simply enable the “container in container” function in the Epic Sum Up settings.

Epic Sum Up requires each issue to be clearly assigned. That’s why we recommend using either an epic link or a container link, but not both at the same time.
JQL – no.
Epic Sum Up calculates summed values live, on-demand, so they aren’t stored at the issue level. (If we were to store these values, it would require constant recalculation and impact server speed.)
Sort – yes.
You can sort issues by the live-calculated summed values, though only in the Detail View Editor, our spreadsheet-like tool, not in the issue navigator.
Yes.
