End-User License Agreement Update

We are updating the End-User License Agreement (EULA) for all APTIS Jira plugin customers on March 1, 2020.

This applies to all versions:

  • Epic Sum Up
  • Issue Viewer/Support Viewer
  • Delete All Comments
  • Server Status
  • Multi Time Tracker for Jira
  • Share Your Jira

As of March 1, 2020 customers can request not to appear on any marketing material. If they appear anywhere they will be removed within 30 days.

In our current EULA we can only mention customers if we make an individual request. This is not standard practice with Atlassian plugins.

Here is a link to the current EULA and the new EULA as of March 1, 2020.

This is the text of the change:

10. Licensee Publicity Rights
During the license period, the licensee grants APTIS the right to use the general license information of the licensee

(a) to contact them via product-specific content via newsletter – which can be terminated at any time, both technically and by email to info@aptis.support.
(b) and to contact and process support requests from the licensee.

In addition, the licensee agrees APTIS, unless contradicted in writing, the use of advertising, press releases, publicity, articles, websites, marketing, promotional, sales collateral materials and the name of Licensee or any of its affiliates, or any partner or employee of Licensee or its affiliates, or any trade name, trademark, service mark, logo, trade devise, or simulation thereof owned by Licensee or its affiliates. Licensee can deny Licensor this right at any time by submitting a written request via email to info@aptis.support and requesting to be excluded from Software promotional material. Requests generally are acted upon within thirty (30) calendar days.

It replaces this text:

10. Licensee Publicity Rights
APTIS agrees that it shall not, without prior written consent of Licensee in each instance,

(a) use in advertising, press releases, publicity, articles, websites, marketing, promotional, or sales collateral materials or otherwise use the name of Licensee or any of its affiliates, or any partner or employee of Licensee or its affiliates, nor any trade name, trademark, service mark, logo, trade devise, or simulation thereof owned by Licensee or its affiliates, or
(b) represent, directly or indirectly, that any product or service provided by APTIS has been approved or endorsed by Licensee or its affiliates.

During the term of this EULA, Licensee grants APTIS the right to exclusively use the general license information of the Licensee

(a) to contact them about product specific content via newsletter – Which can be canceled at any time, both technically and via e-mail to info@aptis.support
(b) and for contacting and processing of support requests from the Licensee.

Please do not hesitate to open a ticket or email us.

Sincerely yours,

Andreas Haaken
CEO, APTIS GmbH
