If you have the collection of information by Atlassian disabled, the data collection for Epic Sum Up is automatically disabled as well.

App data storage and location
Epic Sum Up Cloud uses a server hosted in Ireland to store plugin data. For license validation, we only store client information provided and generated by Atlassian for that purpose. All other content handled by our cloud plugin is stored directly into your Atlassian Cloud installation.
Only users under Atlassian’s Jira instance can use this service. Each incoming web request is authenticated and authorized before access to customer data is allowed.
The applications only access the information required for providing our services and only data generated by our applications may be temporarily retained by our applications for initialization purposes only.
